I'm Asher. I enjoy designing, building, and understanding how things work. This website is digital garden of sorts, a place I can plant my projects, prune my processes, and tend to my takeaways.
My Background
I am a student of mechanical engineering at the University of Victoria. My main focuses have been in robotics and UAVs, though I've also dabbled in materials engineering pedagogy, neural networks for aircraft sizing, and product design.
My Interests
I grew up speed skating, but since moving to Vancouver Island for school, I've spent most of my active time on multi-day backpacking trips or playing spikeball with friends. I also love climbing, as I find it to be a great combination of problem solving, physical challenge, and socializing.
